Pathway, a leading virtual production studio based in Manchester, is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Production Assistant. As a Production Assistant at Pathway, you will play a vital role in supporting our production operations and ensuring the smooth execution of projects.

Responsibilities

1. Assisting the production team in all aspects of virtual production, including pre-production, on-set operations, and post-production.

2. Collaborating closely with various departments, such as art, animation, technology, and production, to facilitate effective communication and seamless workflow.

3. Assisting with scheduling, coordinating meetings, and managing calendars to ensure efficient planning and organization of production activities.

4. Supporting the production team in organizing and maintaining project documentation, files, and assets.

5. Assisting with the logistics and procurement of equipment, props, and materials required for virtual production shoots.

6. Assisting in the setup and operation of virtual production equipment, such as cameras, motion capture systems, and real-time rendering technology.

7. Collaborating with the post-production team to ensure the smooth transition of assets and data for further processing and integration.

8. Assisting in quality control and troubleshooting during virtual production shoots to ensure technical accuracy and adherence to project requirements.

9. Providing general administrative support to the production team, including managing correspondence, preparing reports, and maintaining production databases.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Production Assistant or in a similar role within the film, television, or gaming industry is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with virtual production techniques, tools, and workflows is a plus.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

• Proficiency in industry-standard software applications, such as Microsoft Office suite and project management tools.

• A proactive and detail-oriented approach, with a problem-solving mindset.

• Flexibility and adaptability to evolving project needs and production schedules.

• A passion for virtual production and a strong interest in emerging technologies and trends within the industry.

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a related field is preferred, but not required.
